Organic vs. Not Organic

A couple of years ago I was doing my best to buy the organic options whenever available.

I liked it. I tasted a difference (although, it might have been psychological) from the non-organic products.

I was doing this for about 6 months and then I just wondered what exactly I was doing it for other than a difference in taste. Was I really getting any additional health benefit from it to the point where it was going to add years onto my life?

A new study found that I wasn't crazy for thinking that:

The findings, published Wednesday in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, surveyed data on nutrition and health benefits from the last 50 years. Study leader Alan Dangour said the small nutritional differences between organic and non-organic are not significant to public health, BBC News reported.

Granted, more studies are needed to be done and I'm not going to knock the organic industry for staying away from pesticides. But, at the same time, I don't think non-organic is going to kill you or that organic is going to be the fountain of youth.

I'll occasionally still buy organic but, with such a big difference in price between organic and non-organic, I'm going to save some money and go non-organic.

So very True! I have seen amazing results in my arms from various push up forms as opposed to the bicep curls I would do 4 days a week at the gym! I have melted fat and sculpted muscle so easily this way..and I used to have to spend so much time at the gym with weights! All this from the Lean Body Fat Loss Training Program!
